My Review:
5 Beautiful Stars
WOW!!! This book made me laugh, and cry. I thought it was beautifully written and it will tug at the heart. Maggie is a wonderful character. She showed both her weaknesses and strengths. Luke is every girls dream. He is there for Maggie and he is amazing. I do recommend this story. Great Job

It’s either the beginning or the end for Sadie James. She came to the small Adirondack town of Andora looking for a fresh start. One that didn’t include the pitying looks of strangers who saw her on the news. Only days into her new life and already she is in trouble. That is, unless the wolf in front of her was salivating at the sight of some other woman in the vast forest around her.
After killing his sister, Tyson searched for oblivion the only way he knew how to. As a wolf he could run from the life he left behind and become the animal he always was. The time between lucidness grows longer each times he surfaces. One day he won’t be able to come back at all. It was the only thing he looked forward to until a lost woman fell at his feet. Sadie is in danger and she is blind to it. Although, it was never proven, Tyson always believed Jack was behind his sister’s ultimate demise. Now Jack has his sights set on Sadie. Can he fight the pull of the wild or will he let her face the wolves alone?
excerpt
The silence of the forest was almost worse than the sounds of fighting. It was so insanely loud with absolute nothingness. Emptiness sounded a lot like the last second before a roller coaster dropped over the first hill. For one brief second there was absolutely nothing. No thought. No breath. No sound beyond the beating of your own heart in your ears. But even that stops just before the decent begins. Right before you are pulled over, there is a complete sense of weightless nothingness. Too soon, you are half laughing half screaming with a smile so big bugs are getting caught in your teeth. Was this the beginning of her decent? In her musings, Sadie had missed the footsteps. Light and airy they floated over the few dried leaves and soft grass to stand beside her. The wolf's presence soothed and excited her in her twisted mental state. While his tongue licked at her fingers and cold nose nudged at her arm, she became irritated. "Didn't your mother ever tell you to not play with your food?" she grumbled. Between her arm and the piece of moss she was laying on, Sadie looked at the wolf. It was the one from before, the one with the yellow eyes. She sighed momentarily with relief then remembered she was dinner before they were so rudely interrupted. He nudged her arm again and that's when she looked at him, really looked. The wolf was no longer salivating and kind of looked wholesome now that his nose wasn't scrunched up towards his eyes showing off his chompers. He sat his butt down in front of her and rested his head on his paws. Their noses were mere inches from each other. Behind him, she caught the tip of his tail wagging slowly from side to side. "Hi." He raised his head and looked dignified and slightly abashed. "So I take it I'm off the menu tonight?" His mouth opened and his tongue flopped to the side as he panted. "That's not a very good confirmation." She pushed up to her hands and knees and sat back on her feet. The wolf sat up as she did. They were the same height now and looking right in each other's eyes. At this height he didn't look like anything more than an oversized dog. His ears stood up straight with pointy little tips that looked like they were dipped in black paint. The line of dark fur on his face did, in fact, run the length of him. Sadie thought he looked a little like a skunk in reverse. "If you're not going to eat me can I go home?" He stayed put. She took that as a yes and began to rise. Slowly, because he was a still a wolf and she didn't want to spook him and end up losing a hand, Sadie rose to her feet and brushed off the bits of forest that clung to her shorts and t-shirt. Once more, the wolf followed her lead and got to his feet. Without thinking, or a second glance, she turned on her heel and began to walk back to her house. This was the very last time she wondered this far from her place. If it was not within eye shot, she was too far away. Lesson learned. Shame on her. Bad Sadie. She stopped. The soft padding of footsteps behind her stopped too. "You've got to be kidding me," she said looking upward to the heavens. "Seriously?" She didn't want to but glanced behind her anyway. Sure enough, the wolf stood a few paces behind her with a look of, "why'd we stop?" Groaning, she turned back around and continued to walk. She told herself that he was just being a gentleman and walking her home. Then she remembered he was a wolf and was probably just finding out where she lived so he could visit at some point for a midnight snack.

Excerpt
Just as I contemplated taking a knife to my wrists, there are those that are doing that now. They throw themselves into the pits of darkness because wallowing in a sea of hatred has become too goddamn much for them. Victoria was one of them.
Suddenly, that lump in my throat is tightening and it is getting harder and harder to breathe. The sunrise of joy that I also craved to see as I put the disgust and danger behind me is almost as frightening as the final farewell to the constant pain. The glutton who wants discomfort will never alter what he needs. That is me. It is embedded in my body, every cell of my being. The masochism that I love to loathe clings onto me forever. I am a dangerous man and my life is destined for bad things. I feel it in my stomach as it clenches. My mind travels through time again as I stare Victoria in the face. All I want is one last smile while the face of her ghost haunts me, making my heart shatter into a trillion shards that will never be put back together, no matter how well Gwendolyn tries. I can certainly attempt to make her think that I am a changed man. She does make me feel more normal than I will ever be, but I must face that I am a player in the game that I hated so much. The last days of Victoria Matthews were filled with rape, torture, brutal violence, and sadness as I sit before a fucking picture box doting over the memories that I kept track of. Inside I hold the last known picture of her and I want to show it off. For what? Being the boy who could never say no to the ultimate puppet master himself.

Forced to obey and listen to her caregiver’s commands, Gwendolyn buries her old self and focuses on the pain to become one of them. A monster herself to seek vengeance. While yearning for her teeming point to come, Gwendolyn starts to connect with another 17-year-old foster boy living with her who calls himself Welch. 7 years ago
From the moment Alexandr Novikov met the young auburn haired woman bartending at her uncle’s pub in Ireland, he’d been fascinated by her delicate beauty and fiery spirit. Unfortunately, he is in no position to offer her the kind of safe, normal life she deserves so he attempts to put her from his mind for her own good. Something easier said then done when a deal is struck between the Novikov Bratva and the Irish Cleary Gang, an arrangement that includes Alex and his men being on twenty-four hour bodyguard duty with the object of his forbidden desires. Jessica Venture came to Dublin to spend some time bonding with her birth mother’s family, a connection she desperately needs after losing her adoptive parents within a year of each other back in the States. The last thing she expected was to fall in love with a handsome, mysterious, and sometimes scary man who was well known for his sexual appetite, but rejected her attempts to seduce him. There are outside forces that will do anything to keep them apart, and Jessica will have to make a desperate choice that will change their lives forever. Warning: There is light bondage, domestic discipline, spanking, and a F/F scene that is a voyeuristic Doms delight. Author’s Note: This is part One of Two for Alex and Jessica’s story. In Alexandr’s Cherished Submissive we get a look into the past and the events that shaped Alex and Jessica into the people they are today. Part Two, Alexandr’s Reluctant Submissive, is present day on, and the expected release date is early Fall 2015. buy links

9006a-add-to-goodreads-button31 button About the author With over forty published books, Ann is Queen of the Castle to her husband and three sons in the mountains of West Virginia. In her past lives she's been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender/Waitress, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. She also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead-though she will deny to her children that it ever happened. From a young Ann has had a love affair with books would read everything she could get her hands on. As Ann grew older, and her hormones kicked in, she discovered bodice ripping Fabio-esque romance novels. They were great at first, but she soon grew tired of the endless stories with a big wonderful emotional buildup to really short and crappy sex. Never a big fan of purple prose, throbbing spears of fleshy pleasure and wet honey pots make her giggle, she sought out books that gave the sex scenes in the story just as much detail and plot as everything else-without using cringe worthy euphemisms. This led her to the wonderful world of Erotic Romance, and she's never looked back. Now Ann spends her days trying to tune out cartoons playing in the background to get into her 'sexy space' and has accepted that her Muse has a severe case of ADD. button author links
